✍️Official: Garnacho at Chelsea, Xavi Simons a Tottenham player! Transfers of Nkunku and Lewandowski
It is the first time the Blues, two-time winners, will compete in the Champions League since the introduction of the 36-team league phase.
That will see Enzo Maresca’s side host four matches at Stamford Bridge and travel to four others across the continent. We will not face the same opponent twice in the league phase.
Before the draw got underway in Monaco, the Blues were presented with a special award for becoming the first club to the six UEFA Men’s competitions: the Champions League, Europa League, Conference League, Super Cup, Cup Winners’ Cup, Youth League.
Chelsea President & Chief Operating Officer, Jason Gannon, collected the award and said: 'It's been an exciting few years for the club. On behalf of more than 120 years of football at Chelsea, the board, the players, the staff, and supporters thank UEFA for this meaningful recognition. It's so special for us.'
